John Moellmer, Duane and Kathie Schmutz, Scott Meyer, Jo Neeley, and Glen Meyer (me). Snow level was much lower than normal but we were in snow from Primrose Cirque to camp so we had plenty of thrills. Camp had a temperature of 36 degrees. Our small team restaked mining claims, explored old mines, used geomagnetic equipment to locate copper and had a great time. With no road into McCarthy, the only way in was by bush plane. Town had about 30 full time residents at the time.
